油分离器的功能
从压缩机来的制冷剂和油混合物进入油分离器的进口。这个混合物一全过滤器和档板装置，使油的细粒聚集并跌落到分离器的底部，在该处的一个由浮球操作的针形阀开启，让油回到压缩机。由于油分离器中的压力比曲轴箱的要高，因此油很快地返回到压缩机中。当油位下降，针形阀将再关闭以防止制冷剂气体返回到压缩机。

Function of segregator
Admixture of refrigerant and oil from compressor enters into oil segregator
entrance. The fix will go through a filter and board equipment.
Granule will gather and fall to the bottom of segregator. Gas will go into
condenser without oil via exit filter.
There is a float ball at the bottom of segregator.The ball will open and make
oil turn back to compressor. Oil will turn back quickly because the pressure
in segregator is higher than that of crankcase. When oil level come back to
normal, spicule valve will be closed to prevent gas from turning back compressor.
